Sophie Anderson, Director

Sophie has directed, acted & stage managed for The San Diego Repertory Theatre, The Old Globe Theatre, Odyssey Theatre, Lamb's Players Theatre, Huntington Theatre, ART, Emerson College, and Berklee College of Music. Casting film with Hopkins, Smith & Barden
and Ronnie Yeskel.  Next project: Walls, written by Kristina Meek.

 

Teresa Beckwith as Brenda

Teresa has appeared on several San Diego stages and is thrilled to appear in the first New Perspective Festival. She is an acupuncturist and martial artist who enjoys writing as well as skiing, fishing, traveling, surfing, and most outdoor activities. She lives with her family in Mission Hills.

Kristina Meek as Jennifer

Kristina studied acting at Northern Kentucky University and has acted with San Diego theatres like La Jolla Stage Company, San Diego Comic Opera, and Black Rabbit Theatre Company. She has appeared in various short independent and student films. She is also a dancer, choreographer and playwright. 


 

Alexander Nguyen as Dave  

This marks Alex's return to the stage after a year of doing mostly student films.  He was last seen on stage in Trying to Find Chinatown at the 2007 Actor's Alliance Festival.  He is excited to be involved in the inaugural New Perspective Festival.



 

Jennie Olson, Playwright

Jennie received her B.A. from UCSD in 2004.  Her play The Dating Pool was produced by Girl Next Year Theatre Co., now Black Cat Theatre Co.
